1 Source is seeking a candidate that possesses exceptional accounting, financial planning, and leadership skills and is a direct report to the Chief Executive Officer.  The successful candidate will be a Certified Public Account (CPA) with a strong background in Government Contract Accounting.  The candidate will possess 7-12 years of accounting experience demonstrating a strong understanding of all aspects of the accounting life cycle and financial management reporting.  The candidate will also have a background in Unanet or be able to complete Unanet Training within 30 days successfully.  This candidate must demonstrate the appropriate hands-on and managerial skills for accrual-based accounting and ensuring GAAP compliance.

Primary duties include providing oversight of the accounting manager/team and managerial accounting operations to ensure adherence to policy, procedures, and processes by the accounting team. 

Managerial Accounting Supervisory Duties include oversight and support (as needed with the Accounting Manager) of the following:

  • Time Sheet Management ensuring the timeliness and accuracy of employee timesheet submission for all employees.
  • Payroll – New Hire Setup by the accounting team in coordination with Human Resources, processing of employee pay, and Posting Payroll Reports.
  • Cash Management – Balance accounts daily, Issue/approve wire transfers, manage cash flow and forecasting
  • Accounts Receivables – Cash Receipts, Draft Invoices, Monthly Invoices, Collections
  • Administrative – Semi-Monthly funding to 401(k) and H.S.A
  • Project Setup/Funding – New project setup, Contract/Funding modification maintenance.

Financial Planning and Reporting:

  • Cash Flow Management and Forecasting
  • Journal Entries for Trial Balance and Financial Statement Preparations
  • Production of monthly financial statements
  • Bank Funding and Borrowing
  • Quarterly compliance with financial reporting for Federal, State, and Local agencies
  • Tax Planning and Coordination with outside Auditor

Requirements:

IT Project Manager - Washington, DC

1 Source Consulting, Inc. is looking for a Project Manager to oversee Enterprise Information Technology support services for the Department of Energy’s Office of Intelligence and Counterintelligence (IN) including Infrastructure Engineering, System Management, and Hosting, Desktop Support, Service Desk Support, and IT Project Management.

  • Define and manage project management processes and champion ongoing process improvement initiatives to implement best practices for Agile Project Management utilizing Jira/Confluence
  • Plan, develop, manage, and deploy software development activities and projects throughout the entire development lifecycle using agile management methodologies.
  • Work with the users and network team to determine project requirements, scope, timeline, and budget and to monitor and track change requests.
  • Develop work plans, estimates, and schedules and direct and assign tasks.
  • Conduct project meetings with the development team and customer stakeholders and interface with other teams such as the operations and security teams to meet project requirements.

Network Operation Lead - Washington, DC

This effort will focus on a wide range of IT services through migration to the Intelligence Community (IC) information sharing, the secure cloud-based operational environment, the Intelligence Community’s Information Technology Enterprise (ICITE) along with an array of technical expertise and analytical support which allows DOE and the United States Intelligence Community (USIC) to detect, protect, mitigate, and counter hostile threats directed against DOE networks and critical national assets.

  • Upgrade and replace EOL routers and switches.
  • Implement, upgrade, and configure network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds.
  • Provide input and best practice recommendations for Network redesign. Implement and troubleshoot MPLS Layer 2 and Layer 3 VPNS, IP, IPV6, OSPF, BGP, RIPV1, RIPV2, IS-IS, EIGRP, OSPFv3, RIPng, EIGRPv6, and static routes.
  • Analyze and provide recommendations for the continuous security improvement of the network. Utilize COMSEC Monitoring/Inventory Tools such as GEM-X and GEMONE.

Senior VMWare Engineer - Washington, DC

We are looking for a Sr VMWare Engineer to directly support ongoing virtual operations of DOE data centers, servers, networks, firewalls, storage, cloud (C2S), VDI and desktop computing environments, as well as the development of strategic cloud modernization solutions.

Job Description:

  • Install, configure, and maintain operating system workstations and servers, including web servers, in support of business processing requirements.
  • Perform software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages.
  • Schedule installations and upgrades and maintain them in accordance with established IT policies and procedures.
  • Monitors and tunes the system to achieve optimum performance levels.
  • Ensures workstation/server data integrity by evaluating, implementing, and managing appropriate software and hardware solutions.
  • Ensures data/media recoverability by implementing a schedule of system backups and database archive operations.
  • Supports media management through internal methods and procedures or through offsite storage and retrieval services. Develops and promotes standard operating procedures.
